Following the suggestions of Thoreau's "Walden", we simplified. We pared the recipe down to the base oils that would do the most for skin, but present the least obstacles to the most people. This soap contains no nut oils, no dyes, no fragrance or essential oil of any kind, no dairy products, no phthalates, no sodium laureth sulfate or sodium lauryl sulfate, no alcohol, and like all Britewerkz Bubbles soaps, no animal products of any sort. We used mostly olive oil, and added castor oil for lather and more conditioning. Just Suds has good lather if used with a washcloth, pouf, or other lathering mechanism (like your body hair, ;-} ), and will give a more creamy lather, when used alone.
